We get it—navigating insurance coverage and billing can be confusing. Take a look at our frequently asked questions below, or contact us directly!
Contact your extended health carrier or plan administrator directly—they’ll be able to help you understand the details and extent of your coverage with a simple phone call.
We ask that you bring your extended benefits card with your policy number and member ID. You’ll also want to provide your BC services card, if you have one.
No problem! Your carrier will still be directly billed by our office for the partial amount they can cover. We’ll only have you pay the outstanding balance after the end of each treatment.
Good question! Coordination of benefits is not available at this time. While we can only bill one single third party carrier per visit, we’re happy to provide you with a receipt, which you can then submit for secondary coverage.
We can only bill ICBC directly for chiropractic coverage if you’ve made an ICBC claim within 12 weeks before your visit. If this is the case, your initial assessment will be fully covered by ICBC—from there, ICBC will cover $56 of each subsequent visit. If your ICBC claim was made more than 12 weeks before your visit, no problem! We’ll just need written approval from an adjuster prior to billing ICBC. In the meantime, you’ll be charged at a private rate until we hear back.
You’ll be charged at a private rate and be held responsible for full payment of your visit. Our staff will let you know as soon as possible and chat about options before you leave our office. Keep in mind that some insurance plans don’t allow online direct billing—so, be sure to check with your extended health carrier for eligibility!
